He stole her heart
with his whimsical charm.

Jelly beans and chocolate,
eggs decorated bright.
Give them to the others.
Let me hold the Easter bunny tight.

His soft as silk fur,
his nose that wiggled.
His long pointed ears,
he just made me giggle.

Thinking back to Easters
of so long ago.
Me holding the Easter Bunny
while magically aglow.
