Gathering Shamrocks |
I've gathered up my shamrocks, I'm goin to the party tonight. Just everyone is goin, I'll wear my dress of emerald and white. It's what you call St. Patricks Day, the wearin of the green. I'm gonna be the bell of the ball, the prettiest girl they've ever seen. There's gonna be lots of fun. Leprechauns and pots of gold. It's the biggest celebration that the Irish ever hold. Maybe I'll come home a courtin some sweet hearted Irish man. That's why I love these parties, they can really be so grand. I've gathered up my shamrocks. I'm goin to the party tonight.
