What do you do mighty ocean, when the sun sets bright upon you? When the sky turns burnt sugar orange and loses all its blue. When the waves crash upon your shore, and your water turns brisk and cold. Tell me what you do mighty ocean, when the dark of night unfolds? All the gulls are sleeping and the people have all gone home. This is when I love you, now it's you and me alone. In the deepest dark of night, here on your sandy shore. the waves crash all around me, my mind can finally soar. The quietness is deafening. My spirit comes to life. I escape from my duties, the every day pressures and strife. I become me so deep and true. These brief glimpses will certainly do.
