Our
Christmas
Present
Oh, those ginger bread cookies
and the sweetest starlight mints.
Music is softly playing,
as I make my Christmas wish.
Dinner is in the oven and
the candles are all aglow.
You'll be home any minute
to shower my heart with bliss.
I look into the mirror
for this last and final time,
wanting to make for certain that
for you I look so very fine.
I hear you as you turn in
and to the door I run.
You're precisely on time as
I run to get the Noel wine.
Through the door you bust with
Chrstmas flower in hand,
wearing the biggest smile
that makes me feel so grand.
You dust off the snow
and turn to hang your coat.
Then you rush to me and say,
honey you've made me a happy man.
Our eyes meet with a smile,
a very romantic show.
One step closer and our lips meet
in the happiest holiday glow.
Our Crhistmas present to each other no doubt we'll always be,
as we stand in passions embrace
in front of our Christmas tree!
