If I was Mother Nature I would take you by the hand We would fly in hand together And search this magnificent land
We would go down to the seashore And wade within her waves We would go to the highest hill top And watch the moonlit haze
We would go to the farthest meadow And watch her flowers sway We would go to the painted desert In the hottest hours of the day
We would go to the highest mountain Where there is snow and frigid ice We would watch her mighty vengeance In the middle of the night
If I was Mother Nature I would take you far and near We would see the wonders of the earth That are beautiful and oh so dear
