To Ralph..
My Loving Husband
When I think of how I love you

I put lots of things aside.

All the little picky stuff,

I have to forget it all in stride.

I go down to the nitty gritty,

down to the very barest bones.

Down to the very roots of my love,

where it ever so freely roams.

Way down deep inside me,

where I feel just like a star.

Where honesty, trust, and compassion,

are never ever barred.

I'm free to be me in every way.

No pretending can ever be found.

My heart sits on a merry-go-round,

and spins round, and round, and round.

It yells out loud and clearly,

bells ringing all over town.

You take me exactly as I am,

on nothing you ever frown.

I hope I'm not being selfish,

thinking only just of me.

I want the whole world to see you,

your're the best there ever could be!
