Here it is New Years again. A time to spend with family and friends. What will the New Year bring this time? I wish for us all good things to find. Will we be troubled with family affairs? Walk by people who in our eyes will glare? What will we do with all the problems we find? I wish for us all great peace of mind. Will we share prayers over our meals? Watch children play while our hearts they steal? In all our dreams will there be a way to cope? I wish for us all the deepest hope. What will we be able to give to others? Will we treat each other as kind as Brothers? In our hearts will we find some clarity? I wish for us all to learn about charity. Will our minds be forever free and clear? Can we let them be filled with happy cheer? Will wanting restful sleep be all that it seems? I wish for us all just perfect dreams. Will our spouse and friends stay by our side? Can we always share with them in pride? Will we be together till we turn to dust? I wish for us all just perfect trust. Will the very thing we need the most, dwell in our hearts like a magical host?
