Sitting on the shore

just looking all around.

Watching all the people,

as they hurry up and down.

Watching the waves,

as they crash to the shore.

Seeing the lovers

with the ones they adore.

Relaxing and resting,

passing the time,

takes me back to yesterday

to dreams left behind.

I was with you,

and you were with me.

All we had was our youth,

both too blind to see.

I'm on the shore,

I don't know about you...

To go back to those times,

Heavenly memories to drift back to...


just sitting on the shore!
