I sit and watch it rain tonight.

Thunder is clapping and the

lightening is bright.

I feel the breeze

swirling all around.

I hear the rain drops

splatter on the ground.

Storms bring more than

water to our earth.

Sit and listen for all it is worth.

Feel the peacefulness,

the smell in the air.

Let yourself go,

if you should dare.

Watch the water cleanse the earth.

It's a magical, impressive,

new kind of rebirth.

Open your soul,

let it fly high.

Let it fly high through the

the illuminated sky.

Storms have a way of making

us take note.

The chances you would be

sorry are so remote.

Storms and rain make you

take a break for awhile.

Just sit down and wait

and watch with a smile.

See how things look when

the storm is gone.

You won't feel so sad

and so withdrawn.

Sit and feel the rain on your face.

Just sit and enjoy

this tranquil place.

When everything is gone and

there is peace at last,

the feeling you have then

will be unsurpassed!
