Summer Is Finally Here
Wash down the patio.
Water the plants.
Such a beautiful day.
It's Summer at last.

Get ready for swimming
and cut the grass.
I saw a big dragonfly
lite on the glass.

Start up the grill,
set the chairs around.
The relatives are coming
from the other side of town.

Eat, and drink, and chit and chat.
Reminisce of times gone by.
Watch evening turn to darkness,
as lightening bugs luminate the sky

Enjoy the moments Summer brings,
It's a special time of year.
It seems like it took forever.
Summer is finally here!
