I open my eyes On yet another day I listen I hear a symphony play Oh Lord Let the sun shine on me I have this blessing With my sight I can see I hear the symbols clap As the morning sun shines in The drums debute Another new day to begin The sky explodes from the Warmth of the rising sun My blessing of a brand new day Has just begun I lay silently As the world comes to life The wind whips in the trees Showing the birds a brand new light I see a butterfly That flutters silently by He is off to a new home In the sunlit sky I breath in the air And take a deep breath I know this day will take Me to new depths No blessing could be more beautiful Than the symphony of life Written by: S.
