A love Like This Is
Unbelievable
Some things are so hard to believe.

To love so much,

is a complete mystery.

Once in a lifetime,

a love comes so grand.

You think for sure

it will be etched right into history.

Circumstances threw us on the same path

both at once.

At that same split second in time

we met face to face.

I was the one so down and out.

You picked me up,

and got me right into place.

I had a hard job in front of me.

You taught me how to do things

and never look back.

My strength rose up

right off the ground.

Before, it was the courage I needed

that I always lacked.

Only for a blink in time

you stood by my side.

Then you tossed me away,

and you ran out.

You had no reason,

just said I was too nice.

I learned at that moment

what you were about.

It took a long time

for me to figure it out.

I thought my life ended

when you went on your way.

I was in a state of

being blinded by the light.

I would have done anything

just to make you stay.

All through the years

I remembered the courage

you taught me.

Now I believe,

you never practiced

what you preached.

So even thought I believe

my love was shot in mid air,

I don't need you anymore.

My new love has brought me

to this point I have reached!
