Words on a piece of paper, a drink in my hand. I sit and write your name in the warm and wet sand.
I wonder what it was that made you leave my side? I see your smiling face, in the swiftly rolling tide.
Reading your note and drying my tears, your leaving me, was my biggest fear.
Sipping some wine and thinking of you. I wonder what on earth it is I should do.
It can't be the end. If you examine your heart, a new note you can send. We can have a new start.
Walking back and forth, going inside. All I can think of to do is wait by the tides.
I will be waiting here by the side of the sea, praying the rolling swift tide will bring you home to me!
